Dr. Antonio DeCarli
Born in Connecticut, Dr. Antonio DeCarli grew up in Long Island, NY and received his undergraduate education at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. He received his MA in Exercise Physiology at San Diego University and his Post-Baccalaureate premedical degree from Columbia University. He received his medical degree from St. Georges University, Grenada and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Syracuse. He concluded his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the University of Florida Shands at Jacksonville.
After working for the Highlands Medical group in New Smyrna Beach for four years, Dr. DeCarli opened a private practice in January 2013–Gastro Center of New Smyrna Beach. Dr. DeCarli is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He is also pleased to have an ongoing affiliation with Bert Fish Medical Center since 2008.
Dr. DeCarli is an accomplished triathlete, who has completed 5 Iron Man competitions and is an accredited triathlon coach. He lives in New Smyrna Beach and enjoys spending time with his wife and three beautiful children.
Dr. DeCarli specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive and liver diseases in adults.

Brittany Lawson, ARNP
Brittany N. Lawson, ARNP is originally from Columbus, OH. She received her undergrad and doctorate in Nursing at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. Additionally, she holds a minor in family and human development. Before receiving her ARNP license Brittany worked as a registered nurse for 6 years in numerous settings including: Neurological ICU and Medical ICU locations.
Brittany treats and diagnoses patients with many of the following conditions: Hepatitis, Cirrhosis, Gall Bladder Disease, Peptic Ulcer Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Pancreatitis, and other diseases of the esophagus, stomach, large and small intestine.
Brittany has worked alongside Dr. DeCarli since 2014.
Brittany enjoys traveling, reading, college football and spending time at the beach with her husband and daughters.
